Bar & Table Tops

98 Smith Street
Collingwood

With meat and beer as a brief, the fit-out pointed towards a rustic, raw and warm place. This lent itself very much towards the character achieved with re-cycled timber.

The main bar at 8m long was created in two halves and highlighted with the use of timber butterflies to bring the two sections together and softened with a generous rounding over of the edge. Aslo specially designed wide enough to encourage bar dining.

Keeping with the theme of bar dining, the tables were also at bar height to really capture the sense of a beer bar with meat as it’s focus, truly encompassing the idea’s of Chris Badenoch and Julia Jenkins.
